   Byron T. Foster formerly crude oil representative, has been appointed manager of purchases and sales for the new division.

   Other key personnel in the newly consolidated division continue in their respective positions. They are: J. T. Hardman, manager of crude oil movements, and V. A. Smith, manager of engineering.

Halliburton Announces
Hughes, Mayfield Transfer
   Halliburton Compañy announced the transfer recently of two division managers. W. L. "Bill" Hughes, from Midland, will assume duties as manager of the Oklahoma City division and P. C.

   "Bill" Mayfield, from Oklahoma City, will take charge of the Midland division, Bill Hughes a native Texas, Joined

 		Halliburton in 1938 after attending the University of Texas and working several years in the oil fields as both a driller and superintendent.

   Bill Mayfield was born in Arkansas and attended Oklahoma Satate University. He was enployed by Halliburton in 1936 in Duncan. The following year he transferred to West Texas where he worked in various capacities for the next 15 years. He was made division manager in Midland in 1950.

Wheatley Pump & Valve Establishes Manufacturing Out in Mexico
   Establishment of the Frank Wheatley Pump & Valve Mfr. de Mexico, a major expansion into the Mexican oil industry, has been announced by Frank wheatley Pump & Valve Mfr., Tulsa.
   The new manufacturing outlet for the Tulsa pump and valves firm is currently manufacturing check valves and numerous pump parts. In the near future, the Mexican manufacturing center will also turn out main line piston pumps and plunger pumps for the Frank wheatley firm.
   Located in Mexico City, the firm is the latest in a series of globe-circling steps which includes France, South Africa and Canada. The sales manager of Frank Wheatley de México will be S. B. Schoelman. Schoelman has represented Pemex in New York City and

Washington, D. C. for the past 17 years. Manufacturing will be directed by Ted Kraft.

Hagan Appoints Davis Hunt
Head of New Chemical R. & D. Group
   Davis D. Hunt has been named to head the newly organized Oilfield Chemicals Research and Development Group for Hagan Chemicals & Controls, Inc.
   Purpose of the new group is to improve existing methods of water treatment and to develop new chemicals for
